beautiful beach and snorkel area

Feb 2023

Beautiful small beach. We enjoyed snorkeling over on the right side from the beach. Its a must to jump of the rock just be careful going up to not scrape your hands or knees as the rock is very sharp. Take the boat over from crocus bay seems the easiest way to arrive.

Little Bay DIY by Land

Jan 2023

We didn't feel like doing water activities on Anguilla (not that they aren't worth it, some look super cool, we just wanted to be lazy for once without scheduling etc..) but figured we give Little Bay a shot to see what the hype is all about :)

The road leading to this area is 95% great and the very last piece is pretty rough to finally arrive closer to a "parking spot" that is by a sign/edge where you can no longer drive - I have included a picture here - we took 2 different routes (one is longer) but they both meet at the same spot to take you to that final rough ground - another couple arrived shortly after us and parked there too so I think it's a good spot to leave your car at :) limited space but you can easily make a U turn as well... just drive slow as it's easy to damage the tires on this last part - we had a small passenger car, no SUV/4WD needed

Once you park you literally walk 1-2 minutes on a slightly overgrown path to see where we are and then a bit further to access the "descend" - we didn't go all the way there and didn't go down as the views from the top were nice enough and that's what we came for. If you don't feel like doing this as part of your excursion you can easily do this on your own as long as you have a car.

TIP: take some sunscreen with you as you are directly in the sun at pretty much all times here

So pretty!

May 2022 • Couples

We went to Little Bay as part of a boat/fishing charter. The cliffs/rock formations make it different from other beaches we saw on the island. The snorkeling was pretty good. We saw an urchin and my husband (allegedly) saw a puffer fish. It was a bit crowded with charters from both Anguilla and St. Maarten. Not bad, but not as serene as some might want. We didn’t do the rock jump, but we watched others do it.

A must for snorkellers

Jul 2021

Absolutely everything great about Anguilla in a tiny little cove. A must for snorkelling, and you haven't been to Anguilla until you jump off the cliff.

Secluded beauty

Little Bay is a nice hidden treasure of Anguilla. You must get there by boat an because of that it offers more privacy and secluded area than other beaches. You can swim out to the large rock and jump off (look up LeBron Janes doing it) and we were able to see several sea turtles during our time there.

Quiet

Feb 2020

We took a sailing trip to Little Bay with Traditions Sailing (highly recommended). We were able to see turtles, pelicans and other birds. Great area for snorkeling.

Go See Calvin - Crocus Bay is Beautiful

Feb 2020 • Couples

Calvin took us to Crocus Bay in his boat. My husband snorkeled and I sat on the beach enjoying the view. A few people trickled in while we were there - some enjoyed climbing the cliff, others just enjoyed swimming.

Go by 10am to take advantage of the morning sun/less people.

Would do again - good experience!

Great Spot Depends When You go

Dec 2019

Calvin took us over from Crocus Bay, we went 1st thing at around 10 am, it was just us and another couple. The water was super calm, perfect for snorkeling or kayaking. Some boats pull over to the rocks so that people can dive off them. The beach is small but it's another great spot to visit when in Anguilla. That morning Calvin had a surprise in his boat. Some poor sting ray jumped in over night and died..

Drove and parked at top, walked down

Dec 2019 • Family

Dead end road past Ani art school, easy parking. Walked across grassy 20 yard path on well-trod trail. A few big lizards along the way. Down path to top of 40-foot cliff with rope in place. It’s a bit of a rappel down, but my 8 year old son was able to do it. Avoids reliance on boat. Snorkeling was fun, but visibility was a bit cloudy. If you self drive, price is right: free.

Calvins boat is the best way to get here

Dec 2019 • Solo

I went over to little Bay on Calvins boat which I took from crocus Bay, 15 euros for a return trip very good value.
He is very knowledgeable about the bay and tells you the best places to snorkel. I saw so many turtles, reef tip sharks, lion fish and a ray.
The small bay was very peaceful the day I went only one other family there I went around 1.00 and stayed three hours.

I advise you take water and snacks as there is nothing to buy there. If you wish you can do rock climbing and jumping off into the water. The views are beautiful. If you like birds are you see many boobies and brown pelicans.
This place is a real gem. And Calvin is so reliable
